My world opened up when I discovered that travel scarves existed. It all started with a video. It was crazy and funny. It turns out there is an underwear brand with zipper pockets in the front. I found it hard to believe that these were actual products, but they are! I can see the appeal. However, this discovery led me to an item that is even cooler than pickpocket proof undies. The travel scarf. A travel scarf is an infinity scarf with pocket to store small valuable items, like your passport. What a genius idea!
Not all travel scarves with hidden pockets will work for each occasion. Let’s find the best infinity scarf for travel for you!
We have discovered the joys of traveling to all inclusive kid friendly resorts in Mexico. We’ve had some great experiences and some less than great experiences. It has me wondering: what are the best all inclusive resorts in Mexico for families? While I have been on several all inclusive Mexico family vacations, I haven’t even scratched the surface of amazing resorts in México that are also great for families. So, I asked several experienced family travelers, “what are the best family friendly all inclusive resorts in Mexico?”
Let’s get into their recommendations and then plan a vacation!
I was so excited when we landed in Cabo and I was taking in the unique scenery. It has a southern California vibe, with desert, palm trees, and ocean. Yes, it’s in Baja California or lower California. I know, I know. My husband and I had this discussion. It also reminded me a bit of Phoenix, Arizona.
Cabo is a well known tourist destination and a party destination, in particular. I have a family and I decided to take trip to Los Cabos with kids. It did live up to that party reputation, but it’s also so much more. Is Cabo San Lucas kid friendly? Is there anything to do in Cabo with kids?
Yes!
It was spring break time again when we headed to Cabo. We stayed at the Riu Santa Fe Cabo San Lucas, an all-inclusive chain we’ve liked in the past. We chose it because we loved the Hotel Riu Palace Tropical Bay, where we stayed on our honeymoon in Jamaica! Cabo had a lot to live up to, since our most recent vacation to Playa del Carmen had been nearly perfect.
So, did we like Riu Santa Fe in Cabo, Mexico?
Traveling became even more of a priority for me since my kids were born. It’s so important to take them out to explore the world. Once the trip planning is done, now it’s time to look for the best kids luggage sets for your child. Do you want soft or hard side luggage? Do you want two or four wheels? Or do you want a kids suitcase with a classic design or something they love in this moment? Stop the madness – let’s go down the rabbit hole!
During one of our vacations, I realized that I needed a quick drying towel. We had beach towels and hung them outside at night, but they were still damp in the mornings due to high humidity. Of course, I want to find the best travel towel. It needs to be quick drying, absorbent, and can fold up compactly. I do need to fit four in a backpack, after all! It didn’t take long to realize that quick dry travel towels would also be a brilliant addition to our swim class bags. It’s great when one product can fill multiple needs!

We decided to check out La Gruta hot springs in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico one beautiful, albeit chilly Sunday morning. It had been recommended to us to arrive early because La Gruta spa gets busy, especially on the weekends. It just happened to be the time change weekend, so arriving at the opening time of 7 am meant that it was still in the high 40s F (approximately 9.4°C). Brrrrrr!*
We decided to take a chance and arrive around 8 am. Just how crowded was it?! What else is it helpful to know before visiting
